Cyber Security Analyst
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor networks and systems for security breaches and investigate incidents.
Analyze security events and alerts to identify threats and assess their impact.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and risk analyses on applications, networks, and systems.
Respond to and manage security incidents, including forensic investigations and reporting.
Implement and maintain security tools such as firewalls, anti-virus software, SIEMs, and intrusion detection systems.
Develop and update security policies, procedures, and documentation.
Conduct regular audits and compliance checks to ensure adherence to standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, or GDPR.
Stay current with evolving cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with IT, legal, and other departments to ensure comprehensive security coverage.
Qualifications:vvv
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, or GSEC are preferred.
Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection.
Experience with tools like Wireshark, Splunk, Nessus, or similar.
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team under pressure.
