Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor networks and systems for security breaches and investigate incidents.

  • Analyze security events and alerts to identify threats and assess their impact.

  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and risk analyses on applications, networks, and systems.

  • Respond to and manage security incidents, including forensic investigations and reporting.

  • Implement and maintain security tools such as firewalls, anti-virus software, SIEMs, and intrusion detection systems.

  • Develop and update security policies, procedures, and documentation.

  • Conduct regular audits and compliance checks to ensure adherence to standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, or GDPR.

  • Stay current with evolving cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and regulatory requirements.

  • Collaborate with IT, legal, and other departments to ensure comprehensive security coverage.



Qualifications:vvv

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, or GSEC are preferred.

  • Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection.

  • Experience with tools like Wireshark, Splunk, Nessus, or similar.

  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team under pressure.
