Operator
• Control, operate, and service the equipment and processes in our production ensuring safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment
• Handle, transport, and process products and materials
• Verify, document and enter data
• Use central control panels and field instruments to control and adjustprocess parameters
• Take proper action when having failures and deviations affecting the production, report these as well as participate in root cause analysis to solve the issues.
• Take responsibility to contribute to a safe work environment actively participating in the development and upkeep of process control and safety practices as well a robust safety culture.
• Work with continuous improvement for the shift team.
• Assist team members with daily operations and participate in rotation of work duties in order to develop the competence within the shift team.
• Together with the rest of the team maintain good housekeeping
1. Entry level
• Gymnasium/upper secondary school diploma. Preferably the vocational technology program or equivalent experience.
• Basic mechanical, chemical, physics and computer knowledge/skills
• Good English skills, basic Swedish skills is seen as a plus.
• Ability to work on rotating shifts and take a forklift certificate
• Ability to operate in already set processes based on on-the-job training and supervision
• Not needed but preferred; valid driving license
2. Intermediate Level
• Experience from heavy industry / manufacturing including safety procedures
• Experience from working with; permit procedures, Lock Out- Tag Out-Try Out, near miss reporting, safety audits, maintenance audits, root cause analysis, process control systems, and daily following up on safety actions.
• Skills in working with continuous improvements in industrial environment.
• Ability to develop work manuals and give presentations related to work.
• Ability to work under limited supervision in set processes and routine situations
• Ability to solve problems deviating set processes with supervision
• Preferred, Experience and knowledge in operating cranes, forklifts, and hand torches.
3. Qualified Level
• Extensive relevant industry production experience
• Previous experience of relevant technology within our plant
• Documented qualifications for work environment and safety
• Operates equipment for which in-depth, complex training was required
• Advanced knowledge of operational processes and tools
• Capability for training and coaching colleagues
• Ability to accurately assess situations, seek new information if necessary, and apply available information and work methods to reach sound conclusions
• Develops work methods and participates in development projects
• Operates under limited supervision for non-routine situations
• Replaces Supervisor when needed and may lead daily operations
